Meet our Wedding Party
Mary's older sister, who is only 9 months older, so it made it easy for them to get along and build great memories growing up. They had the same group of friends in high school and so they were always together. They look nothing alike so a friend once thought they were just best friends with the same last name. One of her favorite memories with Mae is creating a tradition of every Thanksgiving, they would watch every Thanksgiving episode of FRIENDS.
Maid of Honor - Mae Luna
Bridesmaid - Miseth Luna
Mary's younger sister, who is 11 years younger than her and Mae. Miseth is the crazy, silly sister and always brings great laughs to Mary (whether it's laughing AT Miseth or WITH Miseth). When they were younger, Mary would always bicker with Miseth (maybe it was a middle child syndrome?) but as Miseth got older, they were able to build a strong relationship. One of her favorite memories with Miseth is when Miseth recently visited Mary in Dallas and she was able to show Miseth how she was in her element in Dallas and able to share with her how/why she loves it there
Bridesmaid - Sherr Borja
Mary's best friend from Chicago, who has been there since day 1 in her CFCFFL community life days. Sherr has always been the voice of reason and support for Mary, being with her through the ups and downs of life. They have grown close through their service in the community together and have built way too many great memories together. One of her favorite memories with Sherr is the times that they would fangirl over Zac Efron movies or 'N Sync. They were planning a CFCFFL Christmas party once and played the "N Sync Christmas album during dinner, even though they knew the guests wouldn't know the songs, they played it because they think it's the best Christmas album EVER!
Bridesmaid - Carmela Nipas
Mary's other best friend from Chicago who joined the youth camp with her. They grew together through service in the community. Carmela is also another conscience for Mary when she needs it. One of her favorite memories with Carmela is when they served together at a Kids for Family and Life in Pomona, CA. Mary had fun sharing the stage with Carmela when they were teaching the kids the different dances. They both have a strong love for children and have served the kids ministry together for years. She is a built in babysitter for Mary's future kids!
Bridesmaid - Alyssa Aquino
One of Mary's close girlfriends in Dallas. Mary and Alyssa became close when Mary was a fulltime pastoral worker in Dallas and was serving the youth. She has seen Alyssa grow up from her youth days to now as a recent college graduate. They grew even closer when they served the campus ministry together. They love their wings and their buffalo wild wings dates. Mary opened up her apartment to Alyssa and they were roommates for a semester. One of her favorite memories is when they were both home and have those "How was your day" conversations, just sharing about the ups and downs of each other's day.
Bridesmaid - Camille Salazar
Camille is another one of Mary's close girlfriends in Dallas. She is full of wisdom and inspiration and Mary knows she always has a confidant in Camille. When Mary first moved to Dallas for fulltime pastoral work she worked closely with Camille in serving the youth. They have built many memories together through their service in the youth. One of her favorite memories with Camille is whenever she would go over to their house to just hang out and bum around the house, watching tv and just eating and talking for hours about life. She loves having life conversations with Camille.
Bridesmaid - Andrea Salazar
Andrea is one of the first girls that Mary met from Dallas. They got close when they served a national conference in Chicago together. Andrea is always there to provide support to Mary. They grew closer together as they served together in multiple conferences and retreats. One of her favorite memories with Andrea is when she would help Mary with her Tagalog. They would text in Tagalog and Mary would try her best to form the sentences as she knows best and Andrea would just correct her as needed.
Best Man - Marlo Lopez
Marlo, Sean's only and older brother by blood, not only is he named Best Man for the wedding, but he is named Best Man in LIFE!
Groomsman - James Villamayor
James is like another older brother for Sean. James would always give Sean rides and pay for him, he even helped launch his rap career as Dopechyld with the 2001 hit single "Got Christ"
Groomsman - Mark Sunga
Growing up many people use to confuse Mark as Sean's brother and/or somtimes twin! Mark is Sean's best friend growing up in Jersey and continues to be one of Sean's best friends to this day.
Groomsman - Scott Mendoza
Scott and Sean helped and served the youth together. Sean was one of Scott's groomsmen in April 2014, and Sean is honored to have Scott do likewise.
Groomsman - Jeffrey Jose
Other than service, Jeff is one of the first guys who Sean openly expressed his feelings to about Mary. Jeff was always a big help with advice in Mary and Sean's relationship, engagement, and wedding preparation.
Groomsman - Michael Ytem
Mikey and Sean go way back. Mikey was even a big help to Mary by helping her get a place of her own when moving to Dallas in the Spring of 2013.
Groomsman - Alex Jaucian
As much as Sean may make fun of Alex, Alex has always been there for Sean throughout the relationship with Mary. He was actually one of the first guys (along with Jeff) Sean has openly expressed his feelings to about Mary.
